Jenifer Burrows (left) and Kim Smith joined about 20 other Sheetz employees Friday to pick-up trash along a two-mile stretch of Route 322 in Sugarcreek. Sheetz employees signed up for the Adopt-A-Highway project through PennDOT and picked this stretch because many of the Sheetz customers travel Route 322, according to district manager Missy Thompson, who was also helping Friday. The Sheetz team will come back and do it again in the fall. “We do it to give back to the community,” said Thompson. (By Richard Sayer)
