Bigfoot leaves his impression in Marienville over the weekend

Thousands of Bigfoot fans descended on Marienville over the weekend for the fifth annual Bigfoot Festival, which featured speakers like “Turtleman” and researchers from shows such as *Mountain Monsters*. Drawing an estimated 10,000 to 20,000 attendees, the event included out-of-state visitors, craft vendors, a 5K run, and plenty of Bigfoot-themed fun for all ages. Organizers highlighted the festival’s growing success and community impact, including past donations that funded a new ambulance. Planning is already in motion for the 2026 event.
