Ornaments made by area children are hanging on a small tree inside the Transit Fine Arts Gallery in Oil City. The Oil City Arts Council has sent out flyers asking children under 12 to create their own ornaments and the gallery will sell them. The gallery charges $8, with $5 going back to the young artist. The ornaments must be made by the children without any help from adults. Artists may drop off their ornaments at the gallery from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. (By Richard Sayer)
