The Venango Youth Choir sang Christmas songs Thursday evening to entertain those who gathered for the lighting of the Oil City Christmas tree in Town Square. The weather cooperated as the rain stopped just in time for the start of the festivities. Thursday’s events kicked off Oil City’s Christmas Past celebration, which continues today and Saturday with many events on both sides of town.
