Christmas train show starts Nov. 24 at the Cranberry Mall

The Clarion Model Railroad Club’s Christmas Train Show will kick off Friday, Nov. 24, at the Cranberry Mall.  Special hours are listed for the Nov. 24 opening day which are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This year’s show will be in the former dance studio space between the entrance and the food court.  Admission to the show is free and donations will be accepted.

This year’s show hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.  The show runs through Saturday, Dec. 23.  Hours on Saturday, Dec. 16, will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

New this year is the I-80 PA Group’s N-Scale T-Trak modular layout.  Also, members of the club will be showing off their modeling skills featuring passenger stations.

The public will have the chance to vote for their favorites by donating to the club.

Other attractions at this year’s show include, O-Scale trains featuring MTH (DCS) and Lionel (TMCC), the Lionel O-27 layout, N-Scale layouts, Brio train layout for children, Lego displays, HO scale layouts, model railroad hobby shop, and more.

There will be door prizes to sign up for throughout the show.  They will be drawn at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17.
