Clarion County 4-H programs are expanding their reach this year, with the embryology program — which allows students to watch chicken eggs hatch in the classroom — set to be offered in every school district in the county for the first time. County 4-H coordinator Anna Burke told commissioners the program serves about 1,900 students through traditional clubs and school-based enrichment activities. Local 4-H members are also involved in robotics competitions, livestock and equine programs, and county fair planning. Commissioners recognized the organization’s impact by proclaiming March 15–21 as Pennsylvania 4-H Week in Clarion County.
