Clarion County author Sky Fisher will host a free story time and craft event from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Sparrow Books in Clarion to celebrate the release of her new children’s book, “Fabio’s Great Escape.”
The story, inspired by two real mustangs Fisher adopted from Mending Hope Equine Rescue in Fairmount City, follows Fabio and Moon as they venture beyond their pasture and learn that home is where the heart belongs.
Sunday’s event includes a reading, questions and answers, photos of the real Fabio and a horse-themed craft for children.
Fisher’s first book, “Fabulous Fabio Finds a Home”, was published last year.
A portion of all sales from the book series goes to supporting horse rescues, including Mending Hope Equine Rescue.
