Tyler Welshonse holds a bag for Gabriel Schoettle as they and more than a dozen others pick up trash in the Lincoln Land of Laughter playground on Harriott Avenue on Wednesday night. These community members are meeting weekly to do clean-up work. The group banded together after some residents reported finding needles at the park, resident Tyler Welshonse said. The group consists of both adults and children. An event page is dedicated to the clean-up effort on Facebook’s Venango Voice. Anyone who is interested in volunteering may also contact Welshonse at (814) 428-4200.
