Cressmans contribute ‘major gift’ to Pitt-Titusville

Barry E. and Lynn J. Cressman of Titusville have pledged a major gift to the Education & Training Center at Pitt-Titusville to support its future development, according to a press release from the training center.

“The generosity of Barry and Lynn will enable us to continue to provide and enhance the education and training to prepare students for fulfilling careers,” Rick Esch, Pitt-Titusville’s president, said in the release.

The education and training center offers several diverse programs.

In addition to supporting ETC, the Cressmans are active and longtime supporters of the Titusville community. Lynn Cressman currently serves as president of the Titusville School Board. In April, she was named Titusville’s Citizen of the Year for her commitment to education, civic engagement and community beautification.

Barry Cressman is the retired senior pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Titusville. He is president of the Friends of Drake Well Inc. board of directors and of the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation. He’s also served on numerous other boards, including the Titusville YMCA, Woodlawn Cemetery and the Oil Region Alliance.
