Details released on Titusville woman’s capture

From staff reports

Warren state police have released details about the July 25 capture of a Titusville woman who had been on the run.

Sarah Bloom

Sarah Bloom, 28, who evaded Titusville police in a high speed car chase July 15, was caught July 25 by Warren state police after another car chase, Warren state police said.

Police said that when they tried to make a traffic stop on a black Chrysler that Bloom was driving, she sped up and was chased by police for about six miles.

The chase ended at about 12:30 a.m. July 25 when Bloom crashed her vehicle at the intersection of routes 127 and 227 in Harmony Township, Forest County, according to police.

Both Bloom and her passenger, Karissa Beers, 25, of Meadville, were arrested on warrants, police said.

When Bloom’s vehicle was searched, “multiple items of controlled substances and items of drug paraphernalia” indicating drug packaging and sales were discovered, police said.

Bloom has been charged with felony counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver drugs and fleeing or attempting to elude an officer in the Warren County case. She is also facing misdemeanor drug and DUI charges and numerous summary driving violations.
