Evergreen Arbors near Franklin hosted its annual Community Day on Thursday, offering residents food, fellowship, a bouncy house, and connections to local resources. Organized by property manager Karen Fornof and sponsored by Arbors Management, the event aimed to raise awareness of the Section 8 townhome community and introduce residents to agencies such as Venango County Human Services, the United Way, and the Venango County Suicide Prevention Task Force. First responders and local organizations joined in, and families enjoyed activities courtesy of Jones Party Magic. While Evergreen Arbors currently has a waiting list, some vacancies are expected soon, with applications available on-site or at arbors.com. The community also hosts year-round events like summer lunch and reading programs, backpack giveaways, an Easter egg hunt, and a Halloween parade.
