The testing included pump efficiency checks using portable water tanks, running the lights to test power stability, and routine maintenance such as oil changes, valve checks, and vacuum tests. These inspections are essential for meeting insurance and safety standards, as poor scores or skipped testing could lead to higher home insurance rates in the community. Though necessary, the upkeep comes at a cost, with annual maintenance averaging at least $1,000 per truck.
