The Venango Christian High School Class of 1975 marked its 50-year reunion over the weekend with a series of celebrations that drew more than half of the 74 living members, including classmates traveling from across the country. Events included a Friday night gathering at the Oil City Moose, a memorial for 17 deceased classmates, a special Mass led by the Rev. Paul Siebert, musical performances, and time to reminisce. On Saturday, classmates enjoyed lunch and dinner outings, joined Oil City’s BridgeFest, and visited their old high school, which closed earlier this year. The weekend wrapped up with recognition at Mass at St. Joseph Church in Oil City.
