The Oil City Fire Department has been out in force following the last few snowstorms, and on Friday Lt. Charles Hoobler and firefighter John Horn (both pictured), as well as Captain John Rodgers and firefighter Tim Alex, spent the day clearing hydrants around the city. Fire Chief Derek Long said “we appreciate seeing a lot of the hydrants cleared already. It’s great to see the community members helping us and more importantly helping their neighbors.”
