Forest Area School District students earned national recognition at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando this July, bringing home multiple medals in Students Taking Action with Recognition events. From West Forest, Robert Payne and Alison McLaughlin received silver in entrepreneurship, Esther Forker earned silver in career investigation, and Alanah Wagner won bronze in Teach and Train. Macalie Hoffman was also elected to the 2025-26 FCCLA National Executive Council as Vice President of Parliamentary Law. At East Forest, Hailee Oliver and Addyson Neill won gold in chapter service project portfolio, Vera Heferle was a top ten finalist in the same category, and Jonah Glass, Nick Geraci, and Lauran Geraci earned gold in National Programs in Action and placed in the top ten.
