Franklin Area High School hosted its first-ever “Haunted Hallways” community trick-or-treat event Thursday evening, drawing between 100 and 200 attendees. Organized by the student council, the event transformed the school’s corridors into spooky, themed sections decorated by various clubs with ghosts, zombies, movie characters, and more. Student council president Halle Curry said she was inspired by a similar event at another school and wanted to bring that community spirit to Franklin. She praised the teamwork of student council adviser Alicia Stanton, co-principal KC Miller, and all the participating students for making the night a success. Curry said the event was “so worth it” and hopes it becomes an annual tradition.
