Hope 21, a free clothing ministry in Oil City, is celebrating its 10th anniversary by giving back to the community that has supported it for a decade, with founder Lisa Swartz announcing that from now through February 2027, donations collected in its box will be given each month to a different local nonprofit. This month’s recipient is The Hannah Project, founded by Pamela Johnson in memory of her daughter, Hannah Lewis, to support youth aging out of foster care and at-risk systems. Hope 21 will also host its fifth annual “A Dress For You” event Feb. 28 at the Knights of Columbus, offering free formal dresses, accessories, makeup help and more, as the ministry continues serving the community from its Grace United Methodist Church location.
