Kate Aaron of Marble is celebrating her 101st birthday on Wednesday. Born July 30, 1924, she has spent her entire life in Marble and is cherished by her large family, which includes eight children, 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. A lifelong member of St. Michael Church in Fryburg, Kate is known as the go-to person for family prayers and remains the reigning cookie baker of the family. Loved by many and constantly making new friends, she continues to live beside her daughter Caroll and feels grateful for her health and blessings.
