David Cheresnowski of Clintonville, born Aug. 15, 1935, in Waverly, NY, served five years in the U.S. Air Force as a military police dog trainer before working in food and drug research. In 1972, he married Linda Giesmann, and after a few years in Colorado, they returned to Pennsylvania to run Ski’s Market in Clintonville, where Dave became well-known for his quality meats and famous “Ski’s Chicken.” In retirement, he’s been active with the Scrubgrass Grange, Clintonville Lions Club, and part-time work at Kenworth. Known for his love of the outdoors, family, and simple pleasures at home, Dave celebrates his 90th birthday surrounded by his wife, children, and grandsons.
