Keystone adjusts minimum player policy for boys soccer

The Keystone School Board voted to let the high school boys soccer team start the 2025 season with 11 players, despite the district’s policy requiring a minimum of 15, after debating roster concerns, injury risks, and the precedent it could set for other sports. Athletic Director Kevin Craig said the schedule should allow the team to finish the season without major losses to injury, and many players aren’t signed up for other fall sports, meaning they would be left without an activity if the team didn’t play. The meeting also included numerous personnel changes, coaching hires, handbook approvals, and agreements for the upcoming school year.
