Nifty at 90: Teacher and veteran celebrates

Dan Karg of Rockland Township, born in 1935 in Oil City, is celebrated for a life marked by dedication to family, education, and community. The eldest of eight children, he was the first in his family to attend college, studying agriculture at Penn State. A U.S. Army paratrooper during peacetime, Dan later became a beloved teacher in several towns and served in leadership roles within the education system.
