The Oil City water department will install a new water main on Cowell Avenue during the first weeks of April.
Daily start times will be at 8 a.m. Work will be from the intersection of West Third Street to the intersection of West Seventh Street.
Water will be shut off for limited periods of time during the project. Affected customers will be notified in advance.
It is possible that emergency shut-offs will occur with little to no notice.
Traffic may be stopped or redirected, and parking may be prohibited in work areas.
