Meet Silas!
Silas was born in October of 2023. He is a sweet boy, with a sweet and gentle disposition. He gets along well with other cats and loves to be cuddled.
All of our cats have been spayed/neutered, received a Rabies Vaccine, Distemper Shots, and have been dewormed & microchipped.
He has been tested for FeLV and FIV and was found to be positive for FIV. Cats with FIV can co-exist with cats that are negative. Currently, he is healthy and not showing any symptoms of the virus, but because of his weakened immune system, he is more likely to contract other illnesses easily and consequently need immediate vet care when symptoms arise.
You, as the adopter, would need to go into adopting this cat with the knowledge that although it is unlikely, he may not have a long life, but would love you for his entire life.
You can visit and adopt Silas from Clarion PAWS in Shippenville, Monday-Saturday!
