State Rep. Josh Bashline, R-63rd District, announced that more than $1.35 million in funding through the Department of Community and Economic Development’s Neighborhood Assistance Program has been awarded to local projects in Clarion and Armstrong counties, supporting community revitalization efforts. Funding includes $715,950 for Clarion County Adventures to complete a year-round ADA-accessible icehouse and public park in Clarion, $225,126 for Wolf’s Corners Fair Association to build new youth, agricultural and recreation facilities, and $418,000 for Armstrong Habitat for Humanity to carry out a multi-year revitalization plan in Kittanning Borough. Bashline said the investments will help organizations continue addressing critical community needs and improving quality of life across the district.
