Venango Technology Center was represented by 46 students at this year’s SkillsUSA District 10 competitions, where students competed against peers from 12 technical schools across western Pennsylvania in 71 contests. After two months of preparation, VTC students competed in 35 events and earned medals in 27, including multiple gold, silver and bronze finishes. Gold medalists advanced to the state competition in Hershey and Williamsport this spring, while volunteer industry professionals served as judges, highlighting student achievement across skilled trades, leadership and occupational development.
