A winter storm that moved through the region Friday, bringing snow, strong winds and plunging temperatures, led to dozens of traffic incidents in Venango County and one reported crash in Clarion County. Venango County 911 logged 40 traffic-related calls, most involving vehicles sliding off roads, into ditches or becoming stuck on hills, with one injury reported following a crash on Allegheny Boulevard near the Oil City–Sugarcreek border. The injured driver was transported for treatment, and the scene was cleared shortly before 4 p.m. No injuries were reported in the remaining Venango County incidents. In Clarion County, one person was injured when a vehicle ran off Route 68 in Monroe Township, with emergency responders clearing the scene shortly before 3 p.m.
