Brandy Coxson, 44, of Oil City, is facing multiple charges after allegedly running over a woman during an argument and fleeing the scene Friday night in Franklin. According to Sugarcreek police, Coxson had been drinking at a local restaurant before a dispute inside her vehicle escalated, leading to the victim being run over and left with a visibly broken leg and other injuries. Witnesses helped identify Coxson, who later failed a field sobriety test and admitted to taking a prescribed opioid. She was arrested, denied chemical testing, and is being held in Venango County Jail pending a preliminary hearing.
