Daniel George, 36, of Farrell pleaded guilty in federal court to drug trafficking and firearm offenses stemming from a July 7, 2022 incident. He admitted to possessing over 28 grams of cocaine base, along with fentanyl, cocaine, and a firearm used in furtherance of drug trafficking. He faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison and up to life, along with a potential \$5.25 million fine. The case, prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Craig W. Haller, was investigated by multiple agencies including the Mercer County Drug Task Force and the FBI. It is part of the Project Safe Neighborhoods initiative aimed at reducing violent crime.
