The Pithole Lantern Tours will return, Oct. 4, offering visitors a nighttime walk through the legendary oil boomtown’s storied past.
Tours will depart every 10 minutes between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. and last about an hour.
Participants will meet notable figures from Pithole’s heyday while walking its steep hills and semi-rugged terrain.
Tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance. They will be on sale beginning Monday at www.drakewell.org/events or in person at the Drake Well Museum Store during regular hours of operation. No ticket sales will be available at the event.
Visitors are advised to arrive 15 minutes early, wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a flashlight.
