James Amato of Clarion is celebrating his 90th birthday today, born on July 31, 1935. A lifelong resident, James was a partner and owner of S. Amato & Sons, working alongside his father and brothers and putting countless miles on the road hauling fruit and produce—something he truly loved. After retirement, he found joy in the simple things: planting flowers, mowing the lawn, and tinkering in his shed. He and his wife Susie raised three children—Jim, Melissa (husband Lee), and Mike—and are proud grandparents to Cody (wife Macie), Leah (husband Giorgio), and Kyle. His great-grandchildren—Amelia, Avery, and Grayson—are the light of his life. His family and friends proudly celebrate this special milestone and the beautiful legacy James continues to build.
