The North Clarion School Board held its annual reorganizational meeting Wednesday, unanimously re-electing Scott Daum as president and Jeff Barron as vice president, and appointing Erica Niznik and Rick Best to the Clarion County Career Center board, with Daum serving as PSBA representative. The board welcomed newly elected member Shane Tharan and confirmed its 2024 meeting schedule. In a brief business session, the board approved a resolution not to raise taxes above the state index. High School Principal Ed Baumcratz reported strong attendance and noted upcoming winter break dates. The board will hold its next work session Jan. 5, followed by the regular meeting Jan. 12.
