Oil City woman allegedly runs over, seriously injures pedestrian

Brandy Coxson, 44, of Oil City, has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run incident Friday night in Franklin that left a pedestrian seriously injured, according to Sugarcreek police. The victim was found in the road with multiple injuries after being struck by a vehicle, and witnesses helped identify Coxson as the alleged driver. She faces several charges, including felony aggravated assault by motor vehicle and misdemeanor hit-and-run, and is being held in Venango County Jail on \$75,000 bail ahead of a preliminary hearing scheduled for Wednesday.
