Police still looking for woman who fled from patrol vehicle

Franklin state police are still looking for an Oil City woman who escaped from custody Dec. 4.

Police said Megan Renee Slater, 36, who also goes by the name Amanda Deeter, was placed in the back of a state police patrol vehicle while trooper worked to apprehend a second suspect during a traffic stop on Relief Street in Oil City.

When troopers returned to the vehicle they discovered Slater had fled, police said.

She is facing a felony count of escape as well as felony drug charges stemming from drug paraphernalia found during the initial traffic stop.

Slater is described as a white female with brown hair she sometimes dyes bright colors. She is 5 foot, 3 inches tall and weighs around 200 pounds.

She has a tattoo of a cross on her left arm, police said.
