The Franklin Fine Arts Council will sponsor the annual Taste of Talent vocal competition this summer at Bandstand Park, and audition packets are now available.
The competition is open to individual soloists 16 and up.
Taste of Talent kicks off during the 4th of July festivities week, on Wednesday, June 28, at 7 p.m. in Bandstand Park.
Competitions will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evenings June 28, July 5, 12, 19 and 26.
The winner of the competition will receive $1,000, sponsored by the Franklin-Oil Region Credit Union.
Prize monies totaling $200 ($100 cash and a $100 Franklin Retail Association gift certificate) will be awarded to the three semifinalists.
