The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Bridging Pennsylvania Constructors have announced an upcoming traffic switch on Interstate 80 westbound, from the median side to the completed outside portion of the bridge over Jenks Street, in support of the I-80 North Fork Bridges Project in Jefferson County.
The traffic switch, weather permitting, is scheduled to occur at 7 a.m. Jan. 7.
If weather is a factor, the plan might be delayed to later that week or into the following week.
Motorists traveling through the area should expect changes in traffic patterns and are reminded to follow all posted signage and use caution while driving through the work zone.
