Cranberry Area School Board President Tom Neely was reelected, with Kyle Melat chosen as first vice president and Mark Marterella as second vice president during Monday’s reorganizational meeting, while the board also made several liaison and representative appointments. Following the swearing-in of new members Kevin Weaver and Nicholas Howard, the board heard updates from the Venango County Conservation District on recent student agricultural and environmental education initiatives, discussed preparations for the Envirothon, and reviewed a report showing cyber school enrollment cost the district about $725,000.
