Motorcycle chase in Cranberry leads to charges

Joshua Ryan Waters, 45, is facing a felony charge of fleeing police and several driving violations after allegedly leading officers on a high-speed motorcycle chase through Cranberry Township on May 25. State police say Waters sped away after being clocked at 60 mph in a 45 zone, weaving dangerously through traffic and crossing into Clarion County before abandoning the motorcycle near a residence. The bike was later found to have a dead plate and a history of being totaled in Kentucky, and Waters was also discovered to have outstanding warrants in Pennsylvania and Georgia. His preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
