NEW CASTLE (AP) – State police say three people were arrested after shots were fired into a western Pennsylvania home occupied by a family, including a 3-year-old child.
Police in Lawrence County said the suspects have an “ongoing dispute” with family members of the Wayne Township residents. No injuries were reported.
Police in New Castle said an officer heard several gunshots early Saturday, saw a vehicle fleeing at high speed and stopped it, finding a semi-automatic rifle and a pistol inside.
The family reported finding several bullet holes and troopers found that projectiles had penetrated the interior of the residence.
Police said the three are facing charges including aggravated assault, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, criminal conspiracy and reckless endangering.
