COVID-19 Relief Fund applications available for nonprofits

From staff reports

The third round of grant applications for the COVID-19 Relief Fund are open until June 17. The relief fund is a result of a partnership between Bridge Builders Community Foundation and United Way of Venango County, and is meant to provide supplemental funds for nonprofit agencies in the county that have been impacted by the COVID-19 virus and the people they serve.

Since the response fund was implemented, the two agencies have provided more than $49,000 of support to non-profits in the area.

“We tried to keep the application process as simple as possible while still being efficient,” said Will Price, executive director of the United Way. “We know there are current and emerging needs in our community and we are doing our best to address them,” he said.

The application is available at bbcf.org/covid-relief-application.

To apply, an agency must be a registered 501(c) 3 organization and serve residents in Venango County.
