Oil City High School will present “The Addams Family” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 17-19, in the high school auditorium.

“The Addams Family” is described as a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story, and is every father’s nightmare.

Wednesday Addams (Alexandra Webster) has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family — a man her parents have never met. Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother.

Now Gomez Addams (Eli Moser) must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his wife, Morticia (Jaden Wagner).

Everything will change for the family on the night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend, Lucas (Mason Stephens), and his parents, Mal and Alice Beinecke (Michael Stanley and Hannah Krug)

The cast also includes Lucas Nuhfer as Pugsley Addams, Matthew Myers as Fester Addams, Jazz Buzard as Grandma, Cameron Weller as Lurch, and Bailey McMahon as Thing.

The Addams family and the ancestors include Eric Goughler, Breanna Terwilliger, Breanna Hartsell, Jaxon Knox, Mara Martinec, Mackenzie Canaan, Olivia Vorse, Ashia Jackson, Sydney Miller, Donnita Moore, Liberty Rickenbach, Samantha Womer, and Mackenzie Canaan.

Tickets for the show are $5 and are being sold in advance at the high school and middle school offices.

Tickets will also be available at the door, and the doors open at 7 p.m. each night.
