The Crawford Area Transportation Authority (CATA) will implement a shared ride fare increase in Venango County beginning July 1.
“The changes will result in a 25-cent increase in most co-pays for seniors and persons with disabilities,” CATA Executive Director Tim Geibel said in a news release.
There hasn’t been a fare increase for the shared ride service since 2014.
“Due to rising costs outside of our control, we need to better align our fares with the actual cost of service to maintain our ability to operate,” Geibel said.
